The Test and follow up
Find out more... The test has been refined to cover as many areas as possible and takes into account that it is FAR MORE BENEFICIAL to determine WHY the body is reacting before testing for foods and allergens.
Test Format
Firstly, a detailed medical history is taken - history of operations, procedures undergone, medications and supplements used, sleeping patterns, type of work, stress, diet, how long the symptoms have been present and family history of allergies as appropriate.
Secondly, the test proper is conducted to establish
- What toxins there are, where in the body they may be present and how to treat them - see Toxins page
- An organ stress test is performed to establish to what degree any part of the body may be out of balance and under stress
- A test for Dysbiosis - a lack of friendly digestive bacteria – is carried out and appropriate treatment suggested
- A test for digestive enzyme, vitamin, mineral and trace element deficiencies, and appropriate treatment - see Deficiencies page
- Finally, testing for the trigger foods and food additives that are causing symptoms or making them worse is carried out
For the following four to six weeks the offending foods should be avoided and the recommended remedies and supplements taken.
The above procedure normally takes about one and three quarter hours.
Follow-up Test
The follow-up test usually takes one to one and a half hours and considers
- What improvements have occurred
- Tests whether toxins have been eliminated from the system
- Checks if the system is no longer deficient in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, digestive enzymes and friendly digestive bacteria
- Retests the organs for comparison with results from the first test
- Retests for foods that can be reintroduced into the diet and
- What should be avoided altogether
- What can be eaten in moderation
- What areas of the body they are affecting
- Tests for allergens, environmental chemicals, if appropriate, and
- Suggests a maintenance programme to ensure continued wellbeing
